Vacation '07

I'm back from Florida. Our family had a wonderful time and I didn't get burned...I tanned!! We took the expedition and a trailer so I was able to overpack. We left on August 8'th at six p.m. and arrived on Sanibel Island on August 9'th at 7 a.m. NOT FUN!!
Other than that we had a great time. We did some fishing, swimming, shopping, laying out, and body surfing...all a lot of fun. The beach is also one of the greatest places in the world to do your devotions. I was able to get some great pictures and I hope you enjoy them!!!

Hello Everyone!! I hope you enjoy these pictures from Mexico!!! I had a WONDERFUL time and came away with a definite sense of God mercy and grace in my life. The kids were adorable and the weather was not bad. The bugs were not TOO big of an issue and it actually rained once while we were there. Not to mention that Mrs. Doe Barbee made sweet rolls.... We mainly worked on construction, but some of the other tasks were painting, putting up fences, playing with the kids, cooking, and cleaning. Mistreated

Poor little blog!! I abuse you almost as I do my journal!! As it has been a little while since my last post I decided that I should probably say SOMETHING before I head away on Saturday. A group of about sixty people from our church are going on a mission trip to Mexico for about a week. We will be staying at an orphanage called Rancho3M. Although I personally will not be able to blog while I'm there, we, as a group, will be posting daily on our blog: www.cckinmexico.blogspot.com. I hope that it will encourage you to hear about what all we are accomplishing. Please pray for us as a team that we will be able to reach the orphans with the gospel. You can pray for me personally that I will have a servant's heart and that I will be able to build lasting relationships with the people in the team. Please pray for safety as well. Thank you!!
